Murex MXtest Lead Consultant #IJW

Responsibilities

• Define the Murex test strategy and create detailed test cases for the squad’s deliverables
• Execute and automate test cases using the MxTest platform
• Analyze Murex test run outputs to identify, triage, and resolve issues
• Collaborate with ST, SIT, and UAT teams, including business stakeholders, to ensure end-to-end test coverage
• Take ownership of assigned tasks from day one with minimal handholding
• Work proactively in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Apply FX and Commodities market knowledge during testing activities
• Validate Market Risk scenarios, including Value at Risk
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience in software testing, with 12+ years in automation testing.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with the Murex application (MX.3).
• 8+ years of experience with the Onyx MxTest automation tool.
• Proven experience leading Murex binary upgrades and managing test execution for them.
• Strong experience with QTP/UFT, including descriptive programming, function libraries, and reusable functions.
• Experience building end-to-end automation frameworks and reconciliation packages.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Solid financial domain knowledge across capital markets products and processes.
• Demonstrated people leadership, including team management and stakeholder communication.
• Good knowledge on Shell scripts, SQL
