Job Summary

Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development by mentoring, planning activities, monitoring progress, and collaborating with parents and school partners to enhance student well-being and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Engage and mentor students to support their emotional, social, and well-being needs effectively
• Plan and supervise after-school engagement activities to foster student development
• Monitor student progress regularly and provide tailored support to address individual needs
• Communicate student progress and participation clearly with parents and guardians
• Collaborate with teachers, school management, and community partners to implement student support programs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
• Adhere to school safeguarding, emergency, confidentiality, and data-protection procedures consistently
• Perform additional student-related duties as assigned by the school

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in student engagement, youth work, social services, or community settings

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in youth work or related fields
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with youths and adults
• Interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with students
• Empathy and caring attitude to support student well-being

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, including a lunch break
