Head of Human Resources & Corporate Development

Our client is a growing international business and investment group seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR leader to strengthen its people, performance and reward strategies across the Group.
This is a senior leadership role for an HR professional who can balance internal equity, market competitiveness, talent retention and business performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to review compensation structures, establish clear performance standards, retain high-performing employees and proactively attract strong external talent from the market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Group-wide HR strategies aligned with business growth and organizational priorities.
Review salary structures, job grades and remuneration practices to ensure fair internal equity and market competitiveness.
Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to identify pay gaps, retention risks and areas requiring adjustment.
Design and enhance salary bands, bonus structures, variable compensation and incentive or commission schemes.
Partner with management on annual salary reviews, promotions and remuneration decisions.
Develop clear performance metrics, KPIs and appraisal frameworks to objectively assess employee contribution.
Conduct talent reviews to identify high performers, critical employees, succession candidates and underperforming staff.
Develop appropriate retention strategies for high-performing and business-critical employees.
Support management in determining employees for development, promotion, redeployment, performance improvement or exit.
Build talent pipelines and succession plans for key leadership and specialist positions.
Lead executive and strategic recruitment for critical positions across the Group.
Proactively identify and directly approach high-performing candidates, including passive talent from competitor organizations.
Assess potential hires based on their ability to contribute to revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency and organizational capability.
Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational restructuring and manpower optimization.
Strengthen employee engagement, career development and leadership capability to improve retention and performance.
Oversee HR governance, employee relations, employment compliance and HR policy development.
Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong experience in compensation, salary benchmarking, internal equity and remuneration strategy.
Able to review salary structures, pay bands, bonuses and incentive or commission schemes to ensure market competitiveness and business sustainability.
Proven experience in performance management, including KPI setting, employee assessment and talent reviews.
Strong ability to identify, retain and reward high-performing employees while managing underperformance effectively.
Experienced in executive recruitment and direct headhunting, including sourcing passive candidates from competitor organizations.
Commercially minded with the ability to assess how talent can contribute to revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
Strong workforce planning, succession planning and organisational restructuring experience.
Comfortable partnering directly with senior management, business owners, Board members or C-suite executives.
Resourceful, hands-on and decisive, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving business environment.
Preferred Experience
Group or regional HR leadership experience.
Exposure to financial services, investment groups, listed companies, family offices or diversified businesses.
Experience conducting company-wide salary benchmarking or internal equity reviews.
Experience designing sales or performance-linked incentive and commission structures.
Exposure to organizational restructuring, manpower optimization, business transformation or regional expansion.
Strong professional network and proven ability to attract senior and high-performing industry talent.

You should be able to identify where the organization may be losing strong employees, recommend appropriate remuneration adjustments, build clear performance standards and actively bring in stronger talent where required.
This role is suited for an HR leader who is comfortable making practical and data-driven people decisions while supporting the Group’s continued growth and long-term competitiveness.
