Purpose and Scope

Manage end-to-end procurement and logistics operations to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective availability of materials and services, while supporting ERP-enabled process improvement and operational resilience for The Singapore Mint.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including requisition review, sourcing, quotation analysis, vendor evaluation, purchase order processing, contract or term coordination, and delivery follow-through in line with internal controls and business requirements.
  • Coordinate inbound, outbound, and inter-site logistics activities to support reliable material flow, inventory availability, secure handling requirements, and service-level performance.
  • Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, lead time, responsiveness, and compliance, and support corrective actions, negotiations, and continuous supplier development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, planning, quality, and project teams to align procurement priorities, demand requirements, and fulfilment timelines.
  • Support inventory governance by tracking stock movements, replenishment requirements, ageing items, and exceptions, and by helping maintain accurate records for regulated or high-value inventory environments.
  • Participate in QAD ERP process reviews, master data validation, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, training support, and data migration activities to strengthen procurement and logistics workflows.
  • Prepare and analyse procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance reports to support decision-making, cost management, and operational planning.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, process standardisation, automation, digitalisation, and cross-functional service performance.
  • Ensure procurement and logistics activities are executed in accordance with company policies, audit requirements, applicable regulations, and documented procedures.
  • Support business continuity by proactively managing supply risks, expediting critical materials or services where needed, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders on potential disruptions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems; exposure to ERP implementation, migration, or transformation projects is preferred.
  • Experience with QAD ERP is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, contract administration, and supplier management principles.
  • Working understanding of logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Ability to analyse quotations, lead times, spend patterns, and operational data to support sound commercial and service decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated, high-value, or operationally sensitive environment with attention to accuracy, documentation, and control.
  • Experience in bullion, precious metals, minting, secure logistics, banking operations, commodities, luxury products, or other high-value inventory environments is an advantage.
