Product Specialist – Pharmaceutical Sales #HYN

Join a growing pharmaceutical commercial team as a Product Specialist, managing healthcare professional relationships and driving sales across selected therapeutic areas. This role is particularly suited to pharmaceutical sales professionals with exposure to dermatology and/or ophthalmology.

Job Description

• Drive sales activities and achieve assigned sales targets across designated therapeutic areas.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including specialists and primary care physicians.

• Conduct product presentations and deliver relevant product information tailored to healthcare professionals' needs.

• Promote pharmaceutical products by communicating relevant clinical and product information accurately and professionally.

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of assigned products, therapeutic areas and clinical developments.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify business opportunities.

• Gather and provide market intelligence to support commercial planning and business development initiatives.

• Work closely with Marketing and Medical Affairs teams to support product campaigns, educational activities and promotional initiatives.

• Provide responsive product support and service to healthcare professionals to strengthen professional relationships.

• Stay updated on relevant clinical research, product information and developments within assigned therapeutic areas.

• Identify potential opportunities for market growth, partnerships and expansion within the pharmaceutical sector.

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Who Should Apply

• Pharmaceutical sales professionals with at least 3 years of relevant sales experience.

• Candidates with existing relationships with healthcare professionals, particularly dermatologists, ophthalmologists, GPs or other specialists.

• Self-driven sales professionals who enjoy a combination of customer engagement, business development and product knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.

• Experience in dermatology and/or ophthalmology is preferred.

• Experience engaging healthcare professionals and presenting pharmaceutical products.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify and act on market opportunities.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving pharmaceutical environment.
