F&B Assistant Manager

About the Employer

Be part of a dynamic F&B team specializing in Mediterranean-Japanese cuisine in a casual yet refined dining setting. We are looking for motivated and service-oriented F&B Assistant Manager with strong leadership and communication skills to support daily operations, lead the team and deliver great dining experience to our guests.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the F&B Manager in overseeing daily F&B operations.
• Supervise and coordinate the service team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle guest enquiries and feedback professionally.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance and manpower planning.
• Train and guide service staff on service standards, menu knowledge and operational procedures.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation and overall service standards.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Assist with inventory control, stock ordering and operational supplies.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily operational reporting when required.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety and company policies.
• Assist management with other operational duties as required.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in F&B operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Proactive and able to handle day-to-day operational matters independently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced F&B environment.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays according to roster.
