Medical Technologist / Laboratory Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Technologist / Laboratory Analyst to support daily laboratory operations and deliver accurate, timely testing services in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and technical procedures in accordance with established SOPs and regulatory standards
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting and timely release of test results through the laboratory information system
• Support quality assurance activities including quality control, corrective actions and compliance monitoring
• Assist with maintenance, calibration and validation of laboratory instruments and assays
• Monitor inventory levels of laboratory reagents and consumables to ensure operational readiness
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, laboratory teams and stakeholders to maintain smooth workflow operations
• Support training activities, workflow coordination and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Participate in investigations, troubleshooting and root cause analysis to uphold laboratory excellence
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure all records are updated in accordance with laboratory protocols

Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Science, Biotechnology or related Life Sciences discipline
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience in haematology, chemistry and urinalysis
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Comfortable working in a structured and quality-focused laboratory environment
