You will be joining a private premium early intervention centre dedicated to supporting children aged 2 to 7 years old with developmental, learning, behavioural, and social-emotional needs. You will work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team to support each child’s developmental progress and holistic growth. Lesson guidelines and curriculum support will be provided, along with regular in-house training to support educators in curriculum delivery and professional development.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage admissions and conduct initial screenings for potential clients.
- Plan and implement evidence-based intervention programmes tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create individualised lesson plans and IEPs with curriculum mapping and differentiated instruction.
- Conduct planning, documentation, and reporting of students’ academic progress.
- Implement social, emotional, and behavioural intervention strategies.
- Ensure proper classroom and behaviour management while maintaining students’ safety and well-being.
- Maintain behaviour documentation and progress reports.
- Update parents regularly regarding children’s sessions and progress through text, photos, videos, etc.
- Update case notes independently and consistently after sessions.
- Maintain student records and communicate closely with parents and school staff.
- Collaborate with Allied Health Professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Psychologists during team meetings.
Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or equivalent.
- Degree in Psychology or other relevant fields may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children aged 18 months to 6 years with learning disorders and/or disabilities.
- Experience in an early intervention setting or with children with special needs will be an advantage.
- Strong command of English with good organizational and communication skills.
- Able to work independently while being a strong team player.
- Knowledge of AEPS will be an added advantage.
