Immediate Vacancy: Accounts Associate

We are looking for an Accounts Associate to join our a growing accounting team. This role will support the day-to-day accounting work for a portfolio of clients and will involve both office-based accounting work and occasional field work at clients premises.

Responsibilities

• Manage client portfolios independently
• Assist with month-end, quarterly GST and year-end closing
• Experience handling full sets and client portfolios
• Prepare financial reports and GST submissions
• Liaise with auditors and clients to follow up on accounting documents & queries
• Conduct field visits to client premises, review accounting records and assist with on-site accounting work
• Review junior team members' work
• Support the team with other accounting-related tasks when required

Requirements

• Degree, Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, O-Level with Principles of Accounts (POA), or related field
• min 3 years full set accounting experience
• Familiar with QuickBooks / Xero / InfoTech cloud accounting
• Good knowledge of accounting principle
• Good attention to detail and able to meet deadlines
• Willing to travel to client office for field work when required
• Good communication skill and a positive attitude
• Experience in outsourced accounting environment will be an advantage
