Private Premium Early Intervention Centre (Small group setting)

Supportive Multidisciplinary Environment

You will be joining a private premium early intervention centre supporting children aged 2 to 7 years old with developmental, learning, behavioural, and social-emotional needs. You will assist the main educators in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment while supporting children’s developmental growth and daily classroom routines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and implement classroom programmes in alignment with the centre’s policies, guidelines, and educational philosophy.
  • Assist in preparing and carrying out educational activities that support children’s developmental needs.
  • Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids and learning materials to enhance classroom learning experiences.
  • Observe, evaluate, and maintain accurate records of children’s development and progress.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of classroom materials, learning corners, and overall classroom environment.
  • Apply positive behaviour guidance techniques to support classroom management and promote a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Support educators and therapists in daily classroom activities and intervention programmes within a small group of 6 children.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children within the classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE “O” Level qualification or higher.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of responsibility.
  • Approachable, proactive, and consistent in interactions with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience working with children or in a special needs environment will be an advantage.
  • Passionate about supporting children with developmental and learning needs.
