Position 1 Operations Manager – Securities Services

  • Perform trade capture for Equities, Fixed income and Structured note transactions
  • Handle processing tasks covering trade booking, trade validation and matching with counterparties
  • Handle trade exceptions that did not automatically book through STP channels
  • Ensure settlement instruction is released, and trades are settled promptly with counterparty in market
  • Investigate with counterparties, custodians and dealers on trade discrepancies
  • Investigate cash and position breaks arising from security transactions
  • Monitoring and follow up on failing trades
  • Perform daily end of day checks
  • Support UAT testing
  • Ad-hoc task assigned by Line Manager

Position 2 Operations Manager – Corporate Actions

Processing and/or authorization of corporate actions events which include but are not limited to:

  • Dividend, Rights, Bonus issue, Split, Cash and Exchange Offer
  • Annual / Extraordinary meeting
  • Adhoc Asset Servicing Assignments
  • To ensure compliance to bank standards and guidelines within the area of responsibilities, where applicable.
  • Perform reconciliation of cash/securities entitlements for each CA event as part of the processing and/or authorization of the CA events, to investigate and rectify discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Perform End of Day control checks and ensure BAU task are completed
  • Perform Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA) checks
  • Ensure that exception processing is completed according to the conditions set in the approval
  • Perform post event reconciliation of cash/securities entitlements, to investigate and close reconciliation breaks timely.
  • Ensure all queries from Business is resolved within expected timeframe or escalated to the correct parties
  • Identify control gaps and work with team to review process efficiency and deliver improvements
  • Participate in projects as and when required

Period: 1 year contract

Location: Tampines

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to $5500

  • Minimum Diploma with at least 3 years’ work experience in Private Bank Operations especially in the area of Corporate action or financial industry
  • Client-oriented mindset with strong service focus
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives through to completion
  • Highly organised, meticulous, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including Front Office and Support teams
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend productivity improvements
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain a logical approach in critical situations
  • Strong control mindset and regulatory awareness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of SWIFT is preferred; knowledge of CTM, T24, and securities products will be an added advantage
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc system testing
