Sales Manager – Network Solutions & Services

Our client is an established Singapore-based Value-Added Distributor (VAD) specialising in networking products, cybersecurity solutions and professional services.

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Hunter to grow the networking solutions and services business. The ideal candidate should have a proven sales track record and active relationships with major system integrators in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and develop new business opportunities for networking solutions and services.
• Develop projects through system integrators, channel partners and end customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with major SIs such as ST Engineering, NCS, NTT, NEC and others.
• Understand customer requirements and position suitable networking solutions and services.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, proposal and negotiation through deal closure.
• Work with vendors and engineers on solution design, demonstrations, tenders, proposals and pricing.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasts and account plans.
• Achieve agreed revenue and gross profit targets.

Requirements

• Proven sales hunting / business development experience in the Singapore IT/networking market.
• Strong sales track record with examples of revenue, GP, new accounts or major deals won.
• Experience selling networking solutions with knowledge of switching, routing and network infrastructure.
• Active working relationships with major Singapore SIs such as ST Engineering, NCS, NTT, NEC or similar.
• Experience working with SI/channel partners, vendors and technical teams.
• Self-motivated, persistent and comfortable developing new business from prospecting to closure.
• Experience with NTP servers / time synchronisation systems is an added advantage.
