WELDING ENGINEER

· Perform welding on stainless steel materials;

· Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints;

· Assemble, weld, and fabricate stainless steel structures or components;

· Inspect and ensure welded parts meet quality standards;

· Maintain and operate welding equipment safely;

· Experience in stainless steel welding is preferred;

· Assist with other tasks assigned by the supervisor;

· Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job;

· Maintain and repair all machinery;

· Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors;

· Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes;

· Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature;

· Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

· Avoid danger during work.

Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)

Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Co-ordinate with fitter and supervisor for job instruction.

· Must have relevant working experience.

· Have at least high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

· A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.

· Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.

· Outstanding attention to detail.

· Avoid danger during work.

· Must accept work on weekends/PH.
