Nurse Manager, Oncology Clinic

Job scope:

• Oversee and enhance concierge services to deliver personalized, high-touch care for specific individuals or groups.
• Implement strategies to ensure exemplary service delivery and maximize patient satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain the highest standard of patient care and nursing services.
• Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation, implement infection control measures, and uphold best practices for patient safety.
• Lead and inspire the nursing team to foster a culture of excellence in clinical outcomes and patient experience.
• Encourage open communication and collaboration among internal and external teams.
• Oversee daily nursing activities, including scheduling, workload distribution, and staff supervision.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain efficiency and patient care quality.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support staff professional development.
• Manage resources efficiently to optimize clinic operations and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction.
• Continuously assess and enhance workflow processes to achieve optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top nursing talent.
• Provide orientation, mentorship, and continuous education to junior nurses and new hires.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practice, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.
• Ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care that meets both medical and comfort needs.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and caregivers to provide education and support.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary teamwork to enhance coordination and continuity of care.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care and streamline clinical workflows.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure the availability of high-quality supplies and equipment.
• Drive innovation and quality improvement initiatives within the clinical setting.
• Lead efforts to enhance service excellence, patient safety, and overall clinic performance.
• Execute ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Advanced Diploma in Oncology Nursing preferred.
• 5-7 years of managerial experience in a private outpatient clinic setting.
