Key Responsibilities
Procurement strategy: Develop and implement the overall procurement and supply chain strategy, aligned with the company's business strategy and annual plan. Drive continuous improvement of supply chain systems, processes and contract templates across procurement, logistics and supply chain operations.
Supply chain integration: Work with R&D and Production to involve suppliers early in development and support the transition of new technologies into mass production. Set up a supply chain risk early-warning mechanism, manage the end-to-end supply chain from new product development to mass production, and identify opportunities for value creation.
Supplier management: Define and execute supplier management strategy. Build a diversified, high-quality supplier base with a robust evaluation framework, and continuously strengthen supply chain competitiveness.
Cost management: Optimise the procurement cost structure and deliver annual cost-reduction targets through strategic negotiation, centralised purchasing and cost-model analysis.
Digital transformation: Partner with IT to advance digital procurement and supply chain capabilities, improve data-driven process management, integrate procurement systems and maximise the use of platforms such as SRM.
Team leadership: Lead the procurement organisation, build team capability, promote cross-team collaboration and improve procurement efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher. Degrees in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields are an advantage.
- Extensive senior-level experience in procurement and supply chain management in consumer electronics, smart hardware or a similar high-volume manufacturing industry, including at least [5] years leading procurement at group or company level. Proven success managing ODM/OEM suppliers.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business strategy into procurement and supply chain plans.
- Strong supplier development, evaluation, negotiation and relationship management skills, with an established supplier network in the electronics market.
- Proven cost-analysis and negotiation capability, with a track record of delivering significant cost reductions.
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end supply chain, from planning and procurement through to logistics.
