Summary
Take on a new challenge and apply your entrepreneurship, tech product creation and management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Head of APAC Innovation working alongside passionate and driven teammates. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the clients, teams across the business (project and customer directors), government agencies, start-ups and much more. You’ll specifically take care of one or several Innovation mobility projects and transform them into reality.
We’ll look to you to:
- Foster and strengthen open innovation ecosystem
- Bring new ideas and identify new opportunities with the right team and partners
- Structure the project (Scope, schedule, budget, ROI) and get project / Station approval.
- Scale up the project at the regional level
- Link with R&D platform and projects in the region for collaboration
- Link with APAC ecosystem for collaboration (Universities, public agencies, Start Up, Suppliers, Customers..)
About the Job
Collaboration management
- Develop communication strategy and content for client and key stakeholders
- Identify external programs and funding relevant for the company
- Identify and lead collaboration agreement with client, supplier, start-up and academic
- Support client presentation and technical proposal
Innovation Pipeline
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the open innovation framework.
- Develop and secure a robust network in the company and in the Region to identify pain points and opportunities for clients, projects teams and R&D to be addressed by Innovation
- Design and facilitate workshop to facilitate ideation, solution design, collaboration and new solution adoption
- Develop and manage the innovation pipeline, timelines and resources, ensuring a consistent flow of high-potential projects.
- Be able to identify low hanging fruits and flagship projects
- Communicate clearly on business value, technical proposal and market to be addressed to secure sponsorship, funding and stakeholders engagement
- Be able to pivot to secure value and time to market of your innovation solution
- Oversee the prototyping, testing and piloting of new products, solutions and services.
Project Management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, budget management, resource allocation, risk assessment, and communication strategies
- Utilize and support team in project management methodologies application (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Proactively address potential roadblocks.
- Track and report on project progress and budget consumption, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders based on standard communication support and dashboard with relevant KPI.
Process Improvement & Best Practices
- Secure adherence of existing company processes
- Develop and implement best practices for innovation program management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Share your experience and best practices with Innovation community
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in innovation management and open innovation
Requirements
- An Engineering degree
- Tech (robotic, data, digital) product development from ideation to commercialization
- Product design
- Business model creation
- Experience in Data, AI and software development
- Tech team management is a plus
- DevOps, MLOps is a plus
- Experience in Innovation
- Experience / contacts with Tech eco-system (customers, maintainer, operator, Universities, governmental agencies, Start Up)
- Business / Tech opportunities identification and assessment
- Ideation and design workshop management
- Patent management
- Experience in Project management
- Stakeholder management (customer, management, supplier, support function)
- Budget management
- Planning
- Risk management
- Change management / deployment of new product
- Manage ambiguity and priorities and negotiate tradeoffs
- Agile methodology
- Interest in Railway, green mobility
- Open to business travel within APAC (minimal travel required)
