Option period: 1 January 2029 to 31 December 2029.

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 2:00pm, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break.

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a Science Room, laboratory or similar educational setting is required.

• A Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• At least one year of gardening experience, preferably involving hydroponics systems, is preferred.

• Good organisation and time-management skills for managing Science Room resources and activities are preferred.

• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel are preferred.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills are preferred, including written and spoken English for coordinating lessons and handling Science Room instructions and records.

1. Support procurement, organisation, maintenance and administration of Science Room materials, equipment and teaching resources, including stocktaking and housekeeping.

2. Prepare materials, apparatus and equipment for Science lessons, practical activities and experiments.

3. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs where appropriate.

4. Maintain the school's hydroponics systems and related equipment.

5. Assist teachers with Science programmes, activities and events.

6. Support activities at the Science Enrich Corner and keep the area and its resources clean, organised and well maintained.

7. Perform other Science Room duties reasonably assigned by the school.
