Senior Finance Executive / Finance Supervisor (GL & Non-Trade)
We are partnering with a well-established organisation within the FMCG / Retail / Beauty / F&B space to appoint a dynamic finance professional with a strong growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who not only manages core accounting responsibilities but also actively looks for ways to streamline processes, drive efficiency, and explore digital / AI-driven improvements within finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee General Ledger (GL) and Non-Trade finance functions, including subsidiary operations
- Review and post accounting entries prepared by Finance Executives
- Manage payroll accounting, recording, and reconciliation
- Oversee credit control processes, ensuring accuracy and timely collection of non-trade receivables
- Review and approve non-trade payment requests, ensuring timely and compliant payments
- Maintain fixed assets, vendor and customer master data, and finance-related agreements in SAP
- Perform month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and clearing processes
- Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, declarations, and regulatory surveys
- Review GST reconciliation and ensure timely, accurate submissions
- Support audit, corporate tax, and secretarial requirements
- Guide and support junior team members in their development
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within finance operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth business operations
- Participate in improvement initiatives, including digitalisation / AI / system enhancement projects
- Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of Finance
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience, with supervisory exposure preferred
- Experience in FMCG, Retail, Beauty, or F&B industry strongly preferred
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong interest or exposure in process improvement, automation, or system enhancement (SAP advantage)
- Growth mindset with curiosity to explore new ways of working, including digital or AI-driven solutions
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Strong understanding of Singapore Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in SAP, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Strong team player with good communication and stakeholder management skills
