This is a senior commercial leadership hire focused on expanding and evolving defence and secure communications business across APAC for a global satellite communications and RF technology organisation.

The role combines strategic business development, defence account growth and operator engagement, with responsibility for building new regional opportunities across ministries of defence, defence primes, system integrators, satellite operators and secure communications programmes throughout Asia-Pacific.

Working closely with executive leadership, the position will play a key role in developing the company’s next phase of APAC growth, building on an existing regional footprint and established customer base while expanding into new strategic defence and government markets.

A global satellite communications and RF technology business delivering advanced antenna systems, satellite terminals, RF infrastructure and secure connectivity solutions across commercial and government markets.

The organisation is increasingly focused on supporting defence, government and secure communications programmes, working closely with operators, integrators and strategic partners across evolving satellite and mobility ecosystems.

To be successful you’ll need to have…:

  • Strong experience selling into defence, government or secure communications markets across APAC
  • Existing relationships with ministries of defence, defence primes, system integrators or satellite operators
  • Proven track record building pipeline and developing strategic regional accounts
  • Experience operating in highly autonomous commercial or business development roles
  • Strong understanding of satellite communications, RF systems, secure networks or related defence technologies
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders across complex defence and government sales environments
  • Existing security clearance or eligibility is highly desirable
