Assembly Technician

• Position: Assembly Technician
• Location: Ang Mo Kio (Few bus stops from Yio Chu Kang MRT)
• Working hours: 5 days’ work week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $2800 + Bonus
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Semiconductor & Electronic

Responsibilities

• Perform machine assembly, modification, debugging, and test runs according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform PP and aluminium profile cutting based on released mechanical drawings
• Carry out PP welding according to required specifications, including tank welding
• Set up and calibrate machines to meet operational specifications
• Conduct QC checks on mechanical parts and electrical components
• Install, test, and commission machines at customers’ sites
• Assist Engineers in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and problem-solving activities
• Support Engineers in R&D activities for new machine development
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe work practices in the workshop
• Perform 6S and housekeeping activities in the work area or production floor
• Carry out other technical duties as assigned
• Perform 6S + Housekeeping in working area or production floor.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Engineering or related disciplines
• Preferably with at least 2 years of machine assembly experience
• Candidates without relevant experience but willing to learn are welcome to apply
• Ability to support overtime or weekend work when required for operational needs
• Knowledge or experience in gas and electric welding will be an advantage
• Ability to read mechanical or electrical drawings will be an advantage
