Junior Medical Technologist, Paediatrics #HFT

Job Scope

* Provide laboratory support for Lung Function, Allergy & Sleep Monitoring studies

* Perform pulmonary function tests such as spirometry, NIOX-ENO, lung volumes, Impulse Oscillometry, diffusion capacity & bronchial provocation tests

* Perform sweat testing and allergy tests as requested

* Ensure accurate and timely recording/reporting of test results

* Coordinate urgent test requests with clinics, wards & departments

* Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, consumables & inventory

* Ensure equipment is properly checked/calibrated and in good working condition

* Support procurement and stock replenishment

* Assist with patient registration, appointments & enquiries

* Provide patient service recovery and attend to feedback

* Supervise, coach & guide new/junior staff

* Participate in quality improvement activities and in-service training

* Maintain laboratory statistics and support smooth daily operations

Requirements

* Diploma in Medical Science / Biotechnology / Biomedical Science or related field

* 2–3 years of related clinical service experience preferred

* Keen to work with children in a clinical environment
