Science Lab Assistant - Ang Mo Kio

Contract Period: 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec2027 with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year

For Jan to Nov

●Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 7:30am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

● Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

● Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

For Dec

●Service is required once a week, up to a maximum of four times per month.

● Each session will be three hours.

● Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

● The stated hours are estimates. The officer will be paid based on the actual hours worked.

●Preparation of materials and apparatus for science lessons

●Management, operation and maintenance of the science laboratories and outdoor facilities

● Carryout stocktaking of science resources

● Curating of students’ artefacts for teachers’ reflections

● Ad-hoc duties as assigned by school

Qualifications, skills and experience:

(a)Shall have minimum GCE N levels or equivalent qualification with subject related to science

(b) Should preferably have 2 years of relevant experience in administration and operations, preferably in supporting Science activities in a school environment

(c) Should be an excellent team-player who is organized and with the ability to multi-task

(d) Should be proficient in software skills (e.g. Microsoft office, video/picture taking)

(e) Should have good communication and inter-personal skills

(f)Proficiency in English is preferred

(g) Shall be a Singaporean or Singapore PR
