Doctors Whakatipu

The Doctors Whakatipu are looking for a passionate GP or NP to join their team in a fixed term position from 27 July 2026 to 26 February 2027, working 4-6 sessions per week. Our practice has an innovative and progressive team culture and our Clinicians work closely with a team of experienced health professionals.

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team in a fixed term role. As an experienced GP ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

You will bring to the role:

• Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experience
• Great communication skills
• Positive attituade to open notes and a team based model of care
• Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
• Hold registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or NP registration
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand

This is a fixed term position with negotiable sessions, preferably between 4-6 sessions per week. You will be required to work some weekends in accordance with the shared after-hours roster.
