Work schedule: 5 days workweek, 8 hour per day

Location: Ann Siang Hill

We are looking for a Commis Che to support both preparation and execution of plated desserts during night service. This role combines kitchen responsibilities (mise en place and plating) with guest interaction, including presenting and explaining desserts.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare mise en place for plated dessert service (components, garnishes, sauces, etc.)

  • Assist in pre-service setup to ensure smooth operations

  • Execute dessert plating with precision, consistency, and speed during service

  • Maintain quality and presentation standards for all dishes served

  • Serve guests when required and present desserts

  • Explain menu items, ingredients, and concepts clearly to customers

  • Support coordination between kitchen and front-of-house during service

  • General cleaning duties of work station, supplies and equipment, etc.

  • Replenish mise en place throughout service as needed

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstation before, during, and after service

  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Requirements

  • Singaporean/ PR

  • Comfortable handling both kitchen prep and customer interaction

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Strong attention to detail, especially in plating and consistency

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment

  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

  • Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
