Senior Officer, Trade Finance (Banking Industry, UCP600/Import/Export $5.5k) (ID: 711737)

Responsibilities

• Process import and export bills, including trade bill transactions, advising, and settlements.
• Conduct preliminary checks on all import and export documents.
• Liaise with customers to amend documents with discrepancies and oversee acceptance of import bills.
• Handle processing of forfaiting and other refinancing trade bills.
• Collect letters of credit (L/Cs) and shipping documents from customers, addressing inquiries regarding bills, and monitoring documentation completeness.
• Prepare statistical reports as required.
• Perform compliance checks.
• Undertake additional duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Possess a Degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of banking experience in trade finance.
• Proficient in UCP 600 with a solid background in checking import and export shipping documents.
• Strong ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Proven efficiency and accuracy in task completion.
• Capability to manage multiple responsibilities as needed.
• Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail, especially in financial statement analysis.
