Freight Sales Executive

Salling Search is currently recruiting for a Freight Sales Executive for a freight forwarding company. This is a great opportunity for a driven sales professional to grow a book of business within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and generate sales leads within the freight forwarding and logistics sector
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue and retention
• Prepare and negotiate freight rates, quotations, and service proposals for customers
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and freight rate fluctuations to identify sales opportunities
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• At least 2 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics
• Strong understanding of air, sea, and/or land freight products and services
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and freight/logistics software systems
