Warehouse Assistant cum administrator (Construction)

Job Summary

You will supervise warehouse operations and provide professional administrative support on construction sites, ensuring efficient document control, communication flow, and safe work environments to support project success.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse team activities for loading and unloading containers and vehicles to ensure timely operations
• Manage inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels and support operational needs
• Schedule and arrange deliveries and manpower deployment to optimize resource utilization and meet project timelines
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by assisting with safety protocols and housekeeping tasks
• Collaborate with the customer service team to handle client accounts and support customer satisfaction
• Act as project document controller by filing, sorting, printing, circulating, and storing project documents and correspondences to ensure organized record-keeping
• Handle all incoming and outgoing project-related communications to maintain clear and timely information flow between site and Head Office
• Generate emails and reports as needed to support project documentation and communication
• Serve as the primary contact point for information exchange between Head Office and construction site to facilitate coordination
• Adapt to fast-paced environments by working independently with initiative and managing multiple tasks under stress
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support project and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum ITE/Diploma in Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing efficient administration in a construction environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to understand written instructions and communications clearly
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to work shifts as required
• Ability to work with foreign and local together
