The client is a leading L6 M&E contractor in Singapore. Seeking for a Safety Officer or Safety Coordinator.

Duration: Yearly Renewable

Location: West

Working days: 5 days

Salary: $3500 - $6000

Your new role

• Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and potential workplace hazards.
• Work closely with project and site operations teams to address safety and health matters.
• Implement and support the Company's Safety and Health Management System at project sites
• Coordinate and maintain records for site safety orientations, toolbox meetings, inspections and other safety activities
• Conduct, review and endorse Risk Assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
• Monitor compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, client and company safety requirements.
• Identify safety violations and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, near misses and safety-related complaints, and recommend follow-up actions.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of safety reports, records, documentation and statutory forms.
• Support and conduct in-house safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety training programs.
• Work with contractors and project teams to improve workplace safety practices and operational efficiency.
• Follow up on corrective actions arising from inspections, audits, incidents and Risk Assessments.
• Respond to site safety emergencies and provide support where required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent qualification for Safety Officer
• Advanced Certification in WSH (Level B) - for WSHC
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) under MOM regulations.
