M&E / Architectural Drafter — Full time

Our client is seeking a skilled Drafter to support construction projects by producing precise M&E and architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed shop drawings, layouts, schematics, and construction documentation.
  • Use AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks to draft technical designs.
  • Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
  • Ensure drawings comply with regulatory codes and project specifications.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting tight submission deadlines.
  • Update drawings based on site conditions, feedback, and design changes.
  • Prepare transmittal forms and manage documentation for project submissions.
  • Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and support fabrication needs.
  • Maintain organized records of drawing versions and project files.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or related design software.
  • Strong technical drawing skills with high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of local M&E standards, building codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical sketches and project requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
