Business Analyst (Commercial Planning) O&G, Petrochemical - RPAL

Our client is an energy storage terminal, delivering secure, efficient and reliable storage solutions for the energy industry.. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Business Analyst to join their Commercial and Business Development team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.

They are located in Jurong Island – company transport provided from Jurong East MRT.

Role Overview

This position reports directly to the Head of Commercial & Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and operational performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support management decision-making.
• Conduct market and industry research across relevant sectors and translate findings into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial and business models to assess potential opportunities, business initiatives, and investment proposals.
• Support commercial planning activities, including analysis of pricing, revenue performance, customer trends, and other key business drivers.
• Prepare regular management reports, business performance updates, presentation materials, and supporting documents for internal discussions and management review.
• Assist in evaluating new business opportunities and strategic initiatives by conducting financial analysis, market assessment, and scenario evaluation.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across different functions to gather information, understand business requirements, and support cross-functional projects.

Candidate

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, commercial planning, strategy, or related functions.
• Experience within the energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, infrastructure, or related industries will be advantageous.
