Assistant Project Manager (M&E)

Job Summary

Manage and lead site operations for specialized piping and cabling installations in industrial or high-tech facilities, ensuring project schedules, quality standards, and regulatory compliance are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion
• Coordinate project schedules and lead progress meetings to align team efforts and track milestones
• Supervise installation and routing of specialized piping and cabling systems in semiconductor and chemical plants to meet technical specifications
• Schedule, direct, and monitor subcontractors to ensure adherence to contract drawings and project requirements
• Assist in preparing tender documents, cost estimations, quotations, and track variation works to support project budgeting and procurement
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, quality assurance standards, and safety requirements to maintain site integrity and worker safety

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in M&E projects within construction or industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of factory M&E layouts, cable routing, and piping configurations
