Urgent Locum Occupational Therapist (Home Therapy) - October Start

We are recruiting a Locum Occupational Therapist to support an organisation that conducts home therapy sessions for clients mainly residing in the North, West and Central areas of Singapore. Clients may also be located beyond the listed areas.

Availability

• Part-time (2 days per week, 4 sessions per day. One hour per session, inclusive of documentation time)
• Start date: October 2026
• Duration: One year (with possibility to extend)
• Schedule and caseload to be discussed, locations can be arranged by therapist
• Transportation costs included in rate

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments in clients’ homes
• Develop individualised intervention plans based on each client’s needs and goals
• Provide appropriate therapy to improve clients’ independence, safety and participation in daily activities
• Assess and provide recommendations on activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, positioning and home safety
• Recommend suitable assistive devices, adaptive equipment or home modifications where required
• Educate and train clients, family members and caregivers on therapy activities and safe care techniques
• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate and coordinate with the referring organisation and other relevant care professionals

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
• Full AHPC Registration
• Relevant clinical experience, preferably in community rehabilitation or home-based care
• Able to work independently and manage home visits responsibly
• Comfortable travelling to clients’ homes in the North, West and Central areas
• Good assessment, communication and caregiver-training skills
• Patient, reliable, professional and committed to providing person-centred care
• Able to submit clinical notes and reports within the required timelines
