School Lab Assistant (Barker road, 1 Year)

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027

Working Hours

• Mon–Thu: 7:00am – 4:15pm (incl. 45-min lunch break)
• Fri: 7:00am – 3:45pm (incl. 45-min lunch break)
• Rest Days: No work required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Science Department in maintaining the school's science laboratories
• Prepare experimental set-ups for laboratory work
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of science laboratories
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or School STEM Instructors

• GCE 'N' Level Certificate or equivalent and above (education certification may be offset with relevant work experience)
• At least 4 years of working experience in a secondary school chemistry lab
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask, and to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to carry out routine tasks in a non-air-conditioned environment
