Job Summary

Provide primary school English tutoring focused on composition and writing, supervise homework completion, develop study habits, and support the child’s learning by liaising with other tutors and parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the child’s homework completion daily from Monday to Friday, 2:30–6:30 pm, at the child’s home to ensure timely and accurate task completion
• Develop and reinforce effective study habits tailored to the child’s learning needs to improve academic performance
• Deliver focused tutoring in primary school English, emphasizing composition and writing skills to enhance language proficiency
• Accompany the child to other afternoon tuition classes as needed to provide consistent learning support
• Consult with other class tutors after sessions to gather insights on the child’s progress and challenges
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to parents regarding the child’s academic development and areas for improvement

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience tutoring primary school English, especially composition and writing
