Technical Sales Specialist (Cable/ Connector/ Components)

Technical Sales Specialist will develop and manage customer relationships across Singapore and selected regional markets, promoting technical products, components, equipment, or engineered solutions to customers in the marine, oil and gas, offshore, shipbuilding, and related industrial sectors. The role requires the ability to engage confidently with a broad range of technical and commercial stakeholders, and to understand customer applications in order to recommend suitable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer relationships across Singapore and selected regional markets.
• Promote and sell technical products, components, equipment, or engineered solutions to customers in target industrial markets.
• Communicate confidently and effectively with engineers, procurement teams, contractors, distributors, and end users.
• Understand customer applications and requirements in order to recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, operating with a high level of trust and responsibility.

Requirements

• Current background in internal sales, technical sales, account management, business development, or external sales.
• A technical qualification is useful, but practical product knowledge, curiosity, and the ability to understand customer applications matter just as much.
• Confident communicating with engineers, procurement teams, contractors, distributors, and end users.
• Self-motivated, commercially aware, and comfortable operating with a high level of trust and responsibility.
• Experience selling technical products, components, equipment, or engineered solutions into marine, oil and gas, offshore, shipbuilding, or related industrial markets.
