Locum RN (LSI)

Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing quality nursing care and support to patients in a clinical setting. The duties and responsibilities include:

• Provide medical care and patient counselling to help patient understand about the scans or procedures and contrast injection
• To assist Radiologist in interventional procedures.
• Perform cannulation
• Chaperone doctors/ radiographers, prepare patients for scan examination as needed
• Ensure availability and operation of all the necessary equipment (e.g. BP machine, E-trolley check etc), medical supplies (e.g. medication, masks)
• Must be able to cannulate
• At least a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent (recognised by Singapore Nursing Board).
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.
• Good working attitude with ability to work in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Courteous and exhibit genuine concern for patients.
• 5.5 day work week
