Linen Attendant - NoMad Singapore

The Linen Attendant is responsible for the management, storage, and control of all hotel linen, uniforms, and related inventory items to ensure smooth housekeeping operations and consistent service standards across the hotel.

This role ensures that all linens, guest supplies, and team member uniforms are properly maintained, organised, and available in the required quantities to support daily hotel operations. The Linen Room Attendant plays a key behind-the-scenes role in maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and operational readiness throughout the hotel.

LINEN & UNIFORM MANAGEMENT

• Receive, sort, and organize all hotel linens and ensure proper storage and handling.

• Check team member uniforms for wear and tear and send for cleaning or repair when required.

• Ensure uniforms are properly maintained, organized, and readily available for distribution.

• Maintain orderly storage systems for all linen and uniform items.

INVENTORY CONTROL & STOCK MANAGEMENT

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of linens, uniforms, and related supplies.

• Ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained at all times to support hotel operations.

• Keep accurate records of linen movement and inventory usage.

• Assist in stock-taking and inventory audits as required.

DELIVERY & HOUSEKEEPING SUPPORT

• Support the delivery of uniforms, linen, and housekeeping items to designated areas.

• Assist in setting up extra beds, cribs, and related guest room requirements when needed.

• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure timely fulfilment of linen and supply requests.

• Ensure smooth flow of linen between laundry, storage, and operational areas.

CLEANLINESS & ORGANISATION

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-structured linen room at all times.

• Ensure all linen is stored in a hygienic and orderly manner.

• Follow proper procedures for handling soiled and clean linen.

• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all storage areas.

HEALTH, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

• Adhere strictly to hotel Health & Safety regulations at all times.

• Use equipment safely and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly.

• Follow proper procedures when handling laundry, chemicals, and cleaning materials.

• Ensure safe working practices are maintained in all linen operations.
