HPC Network Administrator (Data Center)

• $6,000 – $7,000/month, negotiable for strong profiles
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm ( After-hours/weekend support is required - only in the event of faults)
• Location - Buona Vista Area
• Contract - Minimum 1 year (renewable)

What the role does

This role is responsible for managing the HPC high-speed network/fabric and data-centre switching environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the tenant HPC network fabric.
• Operate data-centre switching infrastructure.
• Monitor network health and utilisation.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
• Maintain network configurations.
• Maintain configuration backups.
• Produce network utilisation reports.
• Provide standby support for P1/P2 incidents outside normal working hours, mainly through remote support.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant network experience.
• Experience in SDN, firewall and VPN administration.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent/higher certification.
• CCNA or equivalent/higher certification.
• Experience in data-centre or high-speed networking environments will be an advantage.
• Willingness to provide standby support for P1/P2 incidents outside normal working hours when required.
