Operations Executive (School)

Working Hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break)
• No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Logistics: Coordinate logistics for school events, examinations, emergency exercises, meetings, scheduling, and documentation.
• Estate Management: Conduct routine safety and cleanliness checks on school facilities (classrooms, playgrounds, Science Labs, AVA rooms) and log facility defects or disruptions.
• Vendor Supervision: Assist in overseeing business partners and external contractors for building maintenance, cyclical repairs, and infrastructure works.
• Staff Collaboration: Partner with the school's team of Operations Support Officers (OSOs) on daily asset maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Procurement & Inventory: Assist with the procurement of operational products/services and manage inventory tracking for school supplies.
• School Safety: Oversee the safe arrival and dismissal of pupils, ensuring full compliance with school security protocols.

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification or equivalent.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, and/or estate management. Prior experience in a school or child-centric environment is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general digital workflow literacy.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and vendor negotiation abilities, with the capacity to manage crisis situations calmly.
• Bonus Assets: Valid Fire Safety Manager (FSM) or Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certification is an added advantage.
