About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our specialist clinic team.

This is a great opportunity for nurses who enjoy a structured clinic environment with regular working hours and would like to develop their experience in oncology and specialist patient care.

You will work closely with doctors and the clinic team to provide quality patient care, coordinate treatments and investigations, and ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

Oncology experience is an advantage, but nurses with relevant clinical experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with doctors and the clinic team to coordinate daily patient consultations and ensure smooth clinic operations.

  • Prepare patients for consultations, including blood collection, venepuncture and laboratory investigations.

  • Perform venepuncture, cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care as required.

  • Trace and follow up on investigation and laboratory results to support timely patient review.

  • Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols and safety standards.

  • Dispense medications and provide patients and caregivers with appropriate medication and treatment-related education.

  • Monitor patients during treatment and provide nursing care, emotional support and counselling when required.

  • Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals and follow-up arrangements.

  • Monitor medication, medical supplies and consumables inventory and assist with stock management and ordering.

  • Coordinate servicing and preventive maintenance of medical equipment with external vendors.

  • Maintain accurate nursing and patient records in accordance with clinic procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide financial counselling to patients and caregivers, including treatment cost estimates, payment arrangements, Medisave utilisation and insurance matters.

  • Participate in after-hours patient support via mobile phone on a roster basis when required.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the clinic when necessary.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Doctor or Nurse Manager.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration.

  • Valid BCLS and AED certification.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.

  • Comfortable and experienced in venepuncture and patient education.

  • Experience in cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care is preferred.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a strong patient-focused approach.

  • Compassionate, proactive and able to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
