Scaffolding Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Scaffolding Manager to lead our scaffolding operations across construction, industrial, and shutdown projects. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with MOM Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements while delivering efficient and high-quality scaffold solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all scaffolding works in accordance with WSH (Scaffolds) Regulations 2011
• Ensure scaffolding works are carried out under proper supervision of certified scaffold supervisors and erectors
• Plan, coordinate, and manage scaffolding activities from erection to dismantling
• Ensure all scaffolds are safe, stable, properly tagged, and inspected before use and at required intervals
• Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and ensure safe work procedures are implemented
• Ensure full compliance with MOM WSH, permit-to-work (PTW), and work-at-height requirements
• Manage and deploy scaffold supervisors, erectors, and rigging teams effectively
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site inspections regularly
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, and project teams on site requirements
• Ensure proper training, competency, and certification of all scaffold personnel

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of scaffolding experience, with supervisory or managerial exposure
• Strong knowledge of MOM WSH Scaffolds Regulations (Singapore)
• Familiar with scaffold systems (tube & fitting, system scaffold, suspended scaffold, etc.)
• WSQ certification in scaffolding / Work-at-Height preferred
• Strong leadership, planning, and site coordination skills
• Ability to read scaffold drawings and understand load/structural requirements
• Experience working with Approved Scaffold Contractor (ASC) environments is an advantage
