Interior Designer (Commercial Retail, Wellness Spa & Clinic Design)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial retail design, particularly for wellness spas, beauty centers, TCM clinics, aesthetic clinics, and healthcare-related outlets. You will be responsible for managing projects from design concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage commercial interior fit-out projects for wellness spas, beauty centers, clinics, and retail outlets.
• Prepare and review design drawings, construction drawings, and project documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with authority requirements, building regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage design revisions and project documents to maintain quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits, technical meetings, and monitor project progress.
• Resolve design and technical issues during construction.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and legislative requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the company's operational systems.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant interior design experience.
• Strong experience in commercial retail design is required.
• Experience in wellness spas, beauty salons, aesthetic clinics, TCM clinics, medical centers, or retail chain outlets is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of authority submissions and Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Willing to travel and conduct site visits when required.
