The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance&Compliance Executive / Manager to support the financial, fund-operationaland compliance activities of the firm. The successful candidate will work closelywith internal stakeholders, outsourced compliance professionals, banks andexternal auditors. The level of appointment will be determined by thecandidate’s relevant experience, technical competence and ability to workindependently.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the preparation and review of periodicmanagement accounts, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash-flowreports and account reconciliations.

· Assist with the accurate recording and analysisof fund transactions, operating expenses, cash movements and otherfinance-related data.

· Prepare or support the preparation offund-performance and investor-reporting materials, ensuring information iscomplete, accurate and presented on a timely basis.

· Liaise with banks, auditors, fundadministrators, tax advisers and other service providers to facilitate smoothfinancial and fund operations.

· Act as an internal point of contact for theoutsourced compliance service provider; coordinate information requests,maintain records and track agreed follow-up actions.

· Support regulatory filings, compliancemonitoring and documentation required for the firm’s operations, includingmatters relevant to MAS requirements and Singapore tax obligations.

· Review financial information for accuracy,consistency and appropriate supporting documentation before internal orexternal submission.

· Provide clear and reliable financialinformation to internal stakeholders and contribute to ad hoc financial,operational, research, administrative or corporate-secretarial projects asrequired.

Qualifications and Experience

· Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration or a related discipline. Relevant professionalqualifications, such as CPA, ACCA or CFA, are advantageous.

· Candidates with strong potential, includingfresh graduates, are welcome to apply for the Executive level. For the Managerlevel, at least three to five years of relevant experience in finance, fundmanagement, asset management or financial services is preferred.

· Working knowledge of financial analysis,accounting principles, financial reporting and account reconciliation. Exposureto fund accounting or regulated financial services will be an advantage.

· Familiarity with Singapore financial-servicesregulation, MAS expectations and Singapore tax requirements will be beneficial;practical training and support will be provided where appropriate.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidenceusing standard accounting, financial-reporting or workflow tools.

· Excellent attention to detail, organisationaldiscipline, problem-solving ability and sound judgement when handling sensitiveinformation.

· Able to manage priorities independently in alean, fast-moving environment while collaborating constructively withcolleagues and external service providers.

· Clear written and spoken English communicationskills. Mandarin or other language capability is an advantage, particularlywhere it supports communication with relevant clients, partners or serviceproviders.

· A positive, accountable and learning-orientedmindset, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and take onnew challenges.
