Perm Laboratory Assistant (Hospital) @WEST

Working Hours: 3 shift, Any 5 days in the week

Location: WEST

- Receive laboratory specimens (such as whole blood collected in purple-top or red-top blood tubes) and reject those that are unsuitable for processing

- Sort and pack laboratory specimens for couriers/porters at designated send out schedules

- Keep the work area clean, neat, and tidy

- Operate the Laboratory Information System to perform functions such as result query, order entry, packing list for send out, and result entry

- Perform billing-related tasks

- Work closely with the Medical Technologists

- Perform all procedures in accordance with laboratory protocols'

- Comply with good laboratory practice

- Report any adverse incidents to senior member of staff

- Comply with all requirements of the Laboratory Safety Manual

- Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

- Min N/ O /A Level or Nitec in any field

- Relevant work experience in a medical laboratory environment is preferred
