Xing Wei Pte. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior DP Consultant / DP Engineer to lead and deliver DP consultancy and engineering projects as part of our growing DP Consulting Team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, lead project assignments and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and consultants.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Work Location: Vision Exchange, Jurong East

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute DP consultancy and engineering projects from planning through completion.
  • Lead or participate in DP FMEA studies, FMEA proving trials, DP trials and vessel assurance activities.
  • Conduct DP system testing and technical assessments.
  • Lead vessel inspections and technical assignments onboard vessels.
  • Prepare, review and approve technical reports, FMEA documentation, DP trial reports and project documentation.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for clients, vessel personnel and project teams.
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to junior engineers and consultants.
  • Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
  • Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with applicable technical, safety and quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marine, Electrical, Mechanical, Control & Automation Engineering.
  • More than 6 years of relevant experience in DP, marine/offshore engineering or a related field.
  • Valid IMCA DP certification/qualification is required.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Electrical, Automation and Control Systems.
  • Proven experience in DP FMEA, FMEA proving trials, DP trials and vessel assurance.
  • Strong technical report-writing and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel & AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
  • Able to lead projects independently and manage multiple technical assignments.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and client management skills.
  • High level of professional discipline, attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Willing to travel internationally and work onboard vessels when required.
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when required for project or vessel operations.
