Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead residential and commercial projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts and execute space planning to optimize functionality and aesthetics for residential and commercial projects
• Create detailed 3D visuals to effectively communicate design proposals to clients
• Prepare accurate technical drawings and specifications to guide project execution
• Present design proposals clearly to clients, incorporating feedback to refine solutions
• Source quality materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence
• Collaborate with contractors and conduct regular site inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
• Manage project budgets and timelines to deliver projects on schedule and within financial targets
• Mentor and guide junior designers to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing interior design projects independently
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software for design development and presentation
• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and regulations to ensure compliance
