Senior Sales Engineer (Water Quality & Environmental)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced sales professional to drive business growth and lead strategic sales initiatives within the water quality analysis industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets for water quality analysers.
• Manage and expand key customer accounts across water utilities, water infrastructure, semiconductor facilities, industrial users, and engineering companies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, projects, and tender prospects within water and wastewater applications.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve consistent performance and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with technical, service, and marketing teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and product demonstrations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to enhance sales effectiveness and business strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and management reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in water quality analysers, analytical instrumentation, or environmental technology solutions.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within water and wastewater management, process industries, or related sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of online and laboratory water quality analysers, including pH, conductivity, turbidity, TOC, nutrients, and metal analysis systems.
• Experience in managing key customer accounts and leading sales teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and business development capabilities.
• Willingness to travel as required for business needs.
