Supervisor, Lifting-Benoi

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily lifting operations ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational protocols.
• Develop and implement effective lifting plans considering load characteristics, environmental conditions, and resource availability.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety checks prior to lifting activities, ensuring all safety standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage, mentor, and train lifting teams to maintain high performance, safety awareness, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to optimize lifting processes and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, incidents, and inspections, reporting to senior management as required.
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspection schedules for all lifting equipment are followed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and continuous improvement of safety policies, procedures, and training programs related to lifting operations.
• Respond promptly to operational issues, troubleshooting challenges to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising lifting operations, preferably within the marine or heavy industry sector.
• Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and relevant safety standards (e.g., Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, local maritime safety guidelines).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and enforce compliance with safety protocols.
• Good organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Familiarity with marine logistics and operations is highly advantageous.
• Relevant certifications in lifting operations supervision or safety management are preferred.

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
