Job Summary

LeapThought seeks digital construction specialists to drive product innovation by applying expertise in architecture, civil, structural engineering, or site management. Collaborate across teams to digitalize construction and improve built environment outcomes on nationally significant projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration between product managers, software architects, engineers, and DevOps teams to translate industry needs into delivered solutions.
• Apply engineering or architecture expertise to identify construction industry pain points and convert them into actionable product opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer discovery sessions to gather user insights and integrate the voice of end users into product development.
• Advocate for LeapThought’s digital platforms across Southeast Asia, leveraging firsthand industry knowledge to build credibility.
• Own the feedback loop by analyzing project lifecycle data from site, design, and delivery phases to inform product improvements.
• Identify and propose automation, optimization, and waste elimination opportunities across stakeholder workflows to influence the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with domain experts to validate solutions against real-world workflows and industry standards.
• Manage communication and coordination among diverse stakeholders including clients, technical teams, regulators, and end users to ensure cross-functional alignment.

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or ITE qualification in civil/structural engineering, M&E, architecture, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience managing site, project, or design activities across the project lifecycle.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to product teams and construction realities to engineers.
• Strong design sensibilities focused on product, user experience, and communications.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills for engaging internal and external customers.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience delivering complex projects in teams of 10–15 members.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar for tracking timelines and resources.
