Job Responsibilities:

• Survey and understand the market trends, customer demands and competitor’s directions in analytical instruments domain especially for pharmaceutical, food and clinical market. This survey should be done globally.
• Define the product roadmap with 3-5 years for the Shimadzu global software products according to the above survey and the global business strategies.
• Translate the product roadmap into specific product plans and concrete strategies.
• The above activities should be carried out in cooperation with the informatics department in Shimadzu corporation Japan.
• The information and discussion regarding the activities should be disclosed and be involved to Shimadzu group companies worldwide. Communicate with informatics key persons in all subsidiaries to achieve this.
• Develop and execute a software development plan to be driven in Asia pacific region.
• Activate a new software development organization to provide the global software products.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Informatics/Software, Chemistry or Bioscience.
• At least 3 years of experience in business or development on Analytical data management.
• Proven leadership in a diverse environment
• Proven excellent communication skills with customers, partners, and Shimadzu group members
• Good presentation skills and to convince relevant persons.
• Good knowledge of Analytical data management.
• Ability to work collaboratively between variety stakeholders in diverse environment.
• Ability to speak and write Japanese
